Six Pioneering Years with S Curve Strategies

April Bolduc of S Curve Strategies drives an electric box truck at a CALSTART zero-emission commercial truck driving event in San Diego.

As we mark the sixth year of S Curve Strategies, our path in transportation electrification remains as impassioned as our first step. What began as a vision, fueled by industry challenges and innovation, has grown into a journey defined by transformative projects, meaningful partnerships, and milestones that echo across the nation. This work that spans 11 states is the results of the enduring relationships and unwavering support from clients and colleagues who have made our progress possible. Allow us to take you on a walk through our project history, celebrating our milestones and remembering the collaborations that made it all possible.

Washington State's Green Drive

In partnership with CALSTART and PNWER, we are lending our expertise to the Washington State Joint Transportation Authority, crafting a zero-emission medium- and heavy-duty incentive strategy, and paving the way for cleaner roads in Washington.

Granting the Future with CALSTART

Our meticulous work in penning winning transportation electrification grant submissions for innovative electric truck and bus fleet projects saw us working to support the U.S. Department of Energy’s efforts in moving goods across the country with zero-emission vehicles.

Empowering New York's Transit

Teaming up with e3, we developed electrification plans for five diverse transit agencies in New York. Dive deeper into the results of that transformative work.

Charging Ahead with ConEdison

In collaboration with Vrinda, we envisioned and strategized ConEdison's electrification roadmap for medium- and heavy-duty zero-emission pilot projects, a commitment the utility is zealously rolling out.

National Grid's Electric Vision

Our partnership with e3 saw us laying the foundation for National Grid's transportation electrification journey. Learn more about our endeavors with National Grid.

Brightening San Diego's School District Bus Routes

Our winning pitch to the San Diego Unified School District led to the implementation of a $9.7 million California Air Resources Board grant, making clean transportation a reality for Lincoln High School and its feeder elementary schools. These means cleaner air for the students and families that live here. Dive into the project's success story in this article.

Clark County's Electrified Vision

Our work with Clark County, Nevada, mapped out a sustainable future for those within their five municipalities and unicorporated areas, as well as their expansive fleet. The results created their commendable emission targets and how to reach them. Read more about our work in Clark County on our blog.

Electrifying Knowledge with 'Electric Cars for Dummies'

Our President, April Bolduc, played a pivotal role as the Technical Editor for this enlightening read on electric vehicles. April says, “One of the things I love about the book is that it doesn't just focus on the practical side of things. It breaks down the fascinating technical aspects of owning an EV, like how to drive an iPad with wheels. Or how do you maintain a car with practically nothing to maintain? It even has a section on how to prep your home to drive on sunshine by adding solar.” More information on the book can be found on our website.

Powering Black Hills Energy's EV Movement

Our strategizing and guidance transformed Black Hills Energy's EV charging infrastructure rebate programs. Discover more about our impact on this project.

Pioneering the West Coast Clean Transit Corridor

We proudly played a pivotal role with HDR and 11 utilities along the West Coast in shaping the future of medium- and heavy-duty electric truck charging, spanning from Washington State’s Canadian border to San Diego’s Mexican border. Learn more about our approach and what it will take to implement the project.

Six years, countless memories, and numerous milestones later, S Curve Strategies stands stronger and more committed to our vision of more electric cars and trucks on our freeways and in our neighborhoods. That means cleaner air for all of us. Here's to many more years of innovation, partnerships, and setting benchmarks in transportation electrification.
